Councillors Welcomes Additional 314 Weekend Bus Services

Hayes and Coney Hall Councillors Josh Coldspring-White, Alexa Michael, and Thomas Turrell have welcomed news from Transport for London (TfL) that additional Sunday bus services will operate on the 314 bus route. As London Assembly Member for Bexley and Bromley, Thomas is continuing to campaign for more reliable public transport in Outer London.
The 314 runs through Hayes and Coney Hall as part of its route between Eltham and New Addington. The additional services will begin on Saturday 31 August and operate more frequently. There will be 314 bus services every 20 minutes instead of every 30 minutes on Sunday and in the early morning on Saturday and Sunday.

“Public transport in Outer London has been lacking, so I am passionate about improving reliability and frequency for local residents. This is an important step towards this from TfL, so I welcome the announcement. I also look forward to looking into other ways of improving public transport in the rest of the borough.”
